We have a reputation for building and maintaining great looking, well-constructed LAMP websites for a mixture of businesses including fast-moving startups and long-established firms.
We’re only small, but work with loads of different clients, and whoever fills these shiny new boots needs to be able to provide well-coded, maintainable solutions on many different projects.
As an ideal candidate, you will have have two years of experience building dynamic websites. You write considered OOP PHP, and are at home with MVC frameworks. You will know how to use version control and may well run a Linux VPS you use to tinker on your own projects.
On a day to day basis, you will need to plan and implement code to create new features and refine old ones, as well as writing new systems from scratch. If you have experience with Wordpress, that’s a really big bonus.
You’d need to be expert in jQuery, and our HTML/CSS is standards based, so you need to write good, sensible markup. If you can code well in any other languages, let us know.
You would be working in our new Birmingham city centre offices.
